Diversity, belonging, inclusion, and equity
(Associate Dean DBIE - Meredith Nash)
Professor Meredith Nash - Associate Dean - Diversity, Belonging, Inclusion and Equity
"I have dedicated my career to amplifying the lived and multifaceted experiences of people from historically excluded groups. My work is firmly grounded in a social justice agenda that engages other leaders, academic researchers, and key community stakeholders to enable social change. As Associate Dean - DBIE, I am committed to advancing innovative policies and initiatives that sustain a more inclusive community and expanding and deepening of discussions about DBIE and related issues in the College."
Meet the College Diversity, Belonging,

(The DBIE Team: Tyra, Cathy, and Megan)
Dr Catherine (Cathy) Ayres – Senior Project Officer
"I really care about research and education, and I think the best research and education comes from teams and communities that are truly equitable and inclusive, because it benefits the widest possible segment of our society."
Megan Mayne – Project officer
"I've been supporting students in their learning at ANU for 10 years. In terms of positive experiences at uni and beyond, the community in which students learn, and their sense of belonging is every bit as important as their grades."
Tyra Petersen – DBIE Cadet
"Helping to make STEM a place where underrepresented people and groups can thrive is really important to me, and aligns with my passion of championing equal opportunity for all."
