Computing Internship - Tiparra - Project 1

This position is offered through the ANU Computing Internship (COMP3280/ COMP8830)

Company

Tiparra is a Digital Engagement Platform that makes it easy to deliver professional quality, tailored experiences to your target audience, all managed from a simple mobile application. Tiparra's platform delivers experiences for professional sports fans, community clubs, civil engineering firms, Airbnb hosts and many many more.

There are two internship projects on offer from Tiparra.

Project 1: Tiparra Action Enhancements

The Tiparra Digital Engagement Platform is built around 'stacks' which each represent a separate engagement experience delivered for a target audience. Each 'stack' has one or more 'actions', which are individual components that the audience can interact with as part of the experience

Example actions include simple image and video content viewers, rich text displays, links and shortcuts. More complex actions include interactive polling, trivia quizzes and competition entries.

The Tiparra Action Enhancements project works to extend and expand our list of actions available to clients, which provide a greater range of interactivity to each Tiparra user.

 Required technical skills

There are several aspects to our tech stack - the creation of actions within the Tiparra Creator mobile app (which requires iOS and Android development experience) and the implementation of the stack actions in our web application (built using Angular and NodeJS).

We are open to students who have skills across either or both of these tech stacks.

Required/preferred professional and other skills

Previous experience in mobile or web development would be ideal, no matter the stack or language. Someone with interest as a full-stack developer would be welcomed, as well as specific Amazon Web Services experience.
