Hansen Yunken 6 month Safety Cadet progam

Hansen Yunken is offering 6 months work experience for students studying engineering, construction and/or law, and who are interested in getting into the construction industry. 

The cadet program provides experience within Hansen Yunken's safety team, working on projects around ACT.  Duties will involve:

  • Assist the provision of specialist safety guidance to operational project leaders & site supervisors/workers.
  • Support the management of the EHS and environmental systems in accordance with the PMP
  • Support the implementation of safety initiatives and new technologies to improve culture and company performance.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated construction related safety and environmental experience & knowledge
  • Working towards WHS industry relevant qualifications and certificates
  • Practical build project, construction or similar mid- large project environment exposure is desirable
  • Collaborative communication skills consistent with effective consultation, education and mentoring
  • Competent computer skills

The program will be around 6 months however development opportunities will be available out of the Sydney office if you were interested in relocating.
