10kclub.io Scholarship information session & pizza lunch

Come along to this FREE event, where donor Matt Bullock will be holding an information session on what to include in your scholarship application. This session will be followed by a pizza lunch where you have an opportunity to talk to the donor.
Each year, the ANU College of Engineering & Computer Science may offer an award known as the 10kclub.io Scholarship.
The objective of the award is to support later year students who are undertaking a program or Major in a Computer Science discipline. The award aims to help build the recipient's passion, innovation and creativity within computer science.
Funding for this award is provided by Spinify Foundation and other donors. Spinify is an organisation that brings motivational psychology and gamification together to deliver fun at work, increase staff engagement and enhance work productivity to drive business outcomes.
The donor, Matt Bullock, established this scholarship for the purpose of supporting students with ideas and passion and not necessarily the best grades. Matt himself never received the best grades, but he had ambition and drive to make a difference. Matt is one of Australia’s successful serial entrepreneurs.
In addition to the information included on the CoA, questions the selection committee want students to consider are:
- What is the problem?
- How do you plan to solve it?
- How do you differentiate yourself from the current market?
- What is the addressable market size?
