2019 International Winter Study Tour

Experience life as an ANU student for two weeks this winter!

Join our 2019 International Winter Study Tour to find out more about life in Canberra and Australia's National University. You will get to study engineering or computer science courses that will give you a competitive edge and accelerate you career.

The details of the 2019 International Winter Study Tour are as follows:

Dates: Sunday 30 June 2019 to Saturday 13 July 2019

Theme: Intelligent Systems for Smart Cities

An intelligent system is a machine with an embedded computer that is connected to a network and has the capacity to gather and analyse data. This data is then used to communicate with other systems and perform specialised tasks that normal machines cannot perform by themselves.

Intelligent systems exist all around us in traffic lights, smart meters, automobiles, airplane control, among a great number of other possibilities. With the rapid shift towards technology and smart cities, intelligent systems are becoming increasingly popular and necessary to facilitate functions without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction.

In this years' study tour, you will be encouraged to push your boundaries and explore the countless possibilities and uses of Intelligent Systems for smart cities.
