WeChat and WhatsApp groups for 2020 CECS offer holders

Do you hold an offer to study at the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) in February? Join our WeChat and WhatsApp groups for students commencing in Semester 1, 2020.

Our friendly student ambassadors, who are currently studying engineering and computing here, will be available to share their experience and answer your questions.

Ask for advice on getting started, how to enrol in your courses, tips to plan your timetable, and moving to Canberra to study at the ANU.

This is also a great way for you to meet your classmates and make connections before you arrive in Canberra.

When should I join?

You can join our new starter communitites at any time, but be sure to tune in for the live session to chat with current CECS students.

Our live online WeChat FAQ session will be held on Saturday 11 January 2020, 4pm-6pm (AEST). Save the date in your calendars.

How to join the CECS WeChat Group

Step 1: Add us on WeChat. Account name: ANU_CECS or scan the QR code below.

Step 2: When requesting to join the group, please state your full name, program name and ANU Student Identification (ID) number. Your ANU ID number will be on your offer letter and starts with ‘4’, '5' or '6' or '7'.

Step 3: Start meeting your new friends at ANU!
