Women in big data meetup: innovation

Industry leading women from government and academia will be talking about the projects they are working on to drive innovation. The topics will be a window into the technology and jobs of the future.

The following speakers will be sharing their stories: 

  • Value of innovation in government: Alex Gordon, Deputy Secretary for the Schools Cluster and Departmental Innovation Champion, Australian Government, Department of Education
  • How a small Tasmanian island helps us to build the future of electricity: Professor Sylvie Thiebaux - Professor of Computer Science, ANU
  • ACT government innovation: Angkana Whiley, ACT Data Analytics Centre, ACT Goverment
