The 2013 QS World University Rankings by Subject have placed electronic engineering at ANU as first in Australia and computer science second.

Our electrical engineering subject took out the national top spot beating Sydney University and Melbourne University to become 28th in the world, up from last year's place of 41.

CECS' computer science and information systems ranked second in Australia and 21st in the world.

In total ANU had nine top-ranked subjects in the country.
