City University of Hong Kong visits CECS

The ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science welcomed Professor Min Xie, Associate Dean (Research), College of Engineering at City University of Hong Kong. The meeting was also attended by Dr Huadong Mo who is currently a lecturer at UNSW ADFA and received his Ph.D. degree in Systems Engineering and Engineering Management from City University of Hong Kong, in 2016.

Established in 1996, City University is growing rapidly as an international university that lays emphasis on diversity, intercultural learning and a global vision. City University ranked 55th in the world according to the 2019 QS rankings and ranked 1st for International Outlook in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings for 2019.

The objective of the meeting was  aimed at better understanding the collaboration options for the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) and City University. Discussions were also held about future exchange collaborations and City University participation in upcoming CECS Winter/Summer Study Tours.

From CECS, the meeting was attended by Prof Tony Hosking, Professor and Interim Director, RSCS; Dr Nan Yang, Senior Lecturer and Future Engineering Research Leadership Fellow, RSEEME and Johan Arnberg, Manager, International Marketing and Partnerships.
