Jae obtained a PhD in Computer Science at the Australian National University.
 
He was supervised by Dr. Paul Thomas at Microsoft, and Dr. Ramesh Sankaranarayana (panel chair), Prof. Tom Gedeon (the head of HCC research group) and Dr. Hwan-jin Yoon (statistical advisor) at ANU.
