Dr Matt Doolan

I completed my PhD in process control at Ford Australia's Stamping Operations Facility. I have since worked for the Mount Stromlo Observatory on the world's largest telescopes, the Gemini telescopes, and as an academic in the School of Engineering at Australian National University. My many manufacturing industry research projects cover the gamut from process and dimensional control with Ford Australia, to supply chain management with Toll Auto Logistics and Futuris, to vehicle recycling with the AutoCRC. He also led the highly acclaimed industry technology roadmapping projects, Automotive Australia 2020 and On Track to 2040.
I have a range of different research interests mainly in the areas of: Manufacturing Systems, Innovation and Technology Adoption, and Recycling and Life Cycle Assessment.
