Dr Piotr Koniusz

Currently, I am a senior adjunct/honorary lecturer/researcher in Computer Vision at CECS/ANU as well as  at the Machine Learning Group at Data61/CSIRO.
Previously, I worked as a post-doctoral researcher in the team LEAR, INRIA, France. I received my B.Sc. degree in
Telecommunications and Software Engineering in 2004 from the
Warsaw University of Technology, Poland, and completed my PhD degree in Computer Vision in 2013 at CVSSP, University of Surrey, UK.

My interests include contrastive learning, foundation models deep learning, graph learning, visual concept detection, visual category recognition, action recognition, feature and representation learning, invariance
learning, feature pooling, as well as tensor, kernel methods, linearisations, sparsity and deep learning methods.
