Thomas Biedermann joined as Manager of the ANU Autonomy, Agency and Assurance (3A) Innovation Institute in October 2017.

He graduated with a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering from the French Ecole Centrale Marseille. Prior to joining the ANU in 2016 as a Research Development Coordinator in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, he has worked for the French government in scientific diplomacy in the United States and Australia.
