Household Water Treatment in Timor-Leste

Collaborators

Working with partners Engineers Without Borders Australia (EWB-A) and Abundant Water, this projects explores the use of household scale ceramic water filters to improve health and reduce costs and emissions for peri-urban communities in Timor-Leste.  Research projects will explore the effectiveness of filters over time and methods to increase the longevity of filters.  This is an experimental based project.  For 2023 there is the opportunity to travel to Timor-Leste in June/July as part of the EWB-A Timor-Leste Summit.
