Three PhD scholarships are available in the fields of Nanotechnology, Materials Science, Microelectronics, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning under a multi-institutional project funded by the Australian Research Council’s (ARC) National Intelligence and Security Discovery Research Grants program.
These PhD scholarships will offer you an exceptional opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team across the University of Sydney, the Australian National University, and RMIT to develop smart miniaturized sensing devices for the detection of improvised explosive devices. If you love science and STEM, and want to have an impact on society reach out to us!
We embrace equity, diversity and inclusion in STEM. We strongly encourage women, applicants from Indigenous Australians, and people from diverse faith, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds, and LGBTIQA+ identified STEM professionals.
The PhD positions require Australian citizenship or a permanent resident status.
