This two-year master qualification provides students with specialised knowledge and professional engineering skills to prepare them for a career in the rapidly-growing fields of mechatronics, robotics and automation, computer vision and intelligent systems.  The program builds on the University's interdisciplinary engineering focus and research expertise to give students the required skills to address complex multi-disciplinary problems, while at the same time providing advanced technical knowledge in the above fields.

The program includes specialised courses in control systems, advanced control systems, computer vision, robotics, embedded systems, data analytics, grid integration and industrial energy efficiency. Students also have the opportunity to select up to two elective courses from across the University.

Work Integrated Learning is an important part of the program and is delivered through the group project.

The Master of Engineering in Mechatronics requires the completion of 96 units.
