What is Systems Engineering? 

Systems engineering is an interdisciplinary engineering field.

It is forward thinking and transcends software, electrical, and mechanical engineering so engineers are able to provide the big picture and work across teams.

Humanitarian engineers: helping to advance the well-being of humanity as a whole.

As an ANU engineering student you will undertake multiple projects with a humanitarian engineering focus as part of your degree, allowing you to apply your studies directly to enhance the livelihoods of individuals and communities.

While completing your degree you may apply to take part in immersive placements learning about community development and appropriate technology.
