Our teaching focuses on providing real-world and career focused ideas and experience throughout your studies. Our Capstone (Engineering) and TechLauncher (Computing) allow students to taste a real-world professional experience working in groups to solve problems for their Industry partner. These courses are completed for academic credit. This gives students insight into what you can expect in a real-world work setting where you work with internal and external stakeholders. Students work in teams and are expected to work with a Host who could be from private sector, government departments, non-government organisations or not-for-profit organisations.

In addition to building your technical competency, when working on the project you will also enhance your communication skills, teamwork, stakeholder management, project management and self-leadership skills. Students get to work with industry professionals, technology experts and entrepreneurs.
