Gifts to our College will support a new type of engineering, computing and cybernetic education, one that is fit for the middle of the 21st century.
A gift to the College is a gift to the future. Every donation supports us to progress ideas, advance research, build learning opportunities, and create value for the community.
Give to the ANU College of Engineering, Computing and Cybernetics
Our priorities
The world needs new types of engineers, computer scientists and designers to develop inclusive and human-centric technology to solve pressing problems of today. Your generosity will support the College’s mission to Reimagine the use of technology in the world, nurture diverse thinkers and future-focused leaders.
The College aims to grow in number, footprint and diversity, while fostering an inclusive culture. Our students, like those in many engineering and computer science university cohorts, are far from representative of the full diversity of the population from which they come and which they will ultimately serve.
We seek to inspire a new generation of high potential, creative people to come to engineering and computing. We need a diverse range of interests, motivations, perspectives and career aspirations to shape an even greater future.
To do this, we need your help.
How your support will make a difference
The ANU College of Engineering, Computing and Cybernetics general fund is one of the ways we can count on the support of our community to achieve this vision. It allows the College to fund unique opportunities as they arise and support areas of greatest need. This flexibility supports the College to nurture people to go out into the 21st century world and find the right kinds of problems, the solving of which are truly transformational.
Your donation will have an immediate impact by supporting our priority initiatives.

Host an intern
Internships and work placements for students (both in Australia and abroad) benefit all involved. Our interns broaden their horizons and make valuable contacts. They also enhance their technical and communication skills, and gain professional work experience. As an industry partner, you will help to shape the careers and aspirations of engineering and computing graduates. You can also assess the abilities of students before recruitment rounds. More information: Find out more about our internships and work experience becoming an Internship Host.
Engage our students on a group project
Our programs connect students from Australia’s top university with real-world clients and users. By taking part, you can contribute to our curriculum and see great ideas come to life. Get involved with our TechLauncher or Engineering Capstone initiatives; or speak to us about what collaboration you have in mind.
Sponsor an event
We welcome sponsors for our events and activities. This includes career events, networking activities, and national or international engineering and computer science competitions. These are valuable opportunities to meet our students and make connections.
Become a mentor, guest speaker, or volunteer
We invite graduates, staff, industry, government and research partners to share your stories and knowledge. [Speak to us] (mailto:marketing.cecc@anu.edu.au) about mentoring and public speaking opportunities. If you are an ANU graduate, you can also give back through the ANU alumni volunteer network.
