The Master of Computing is a two year full-time (or equivalent part-time) degree that provides students with exposure to best practice in computing and cutting edge courses in areas of relevance to computing practitioners.

Work with some of Australia’s leading researchers on real-world projects that have a real impact. Master of Computing students will build professional skills as part of the University’s innovative TechLauncher program. You can work in small groups with industry partners, researchers, or in start-ups; undertake a small research project supervised by an academic; or an internship with local industry or government agency.
Master of Computing specialisations
If you have space in your program, you can complete a 24 unit specialisation in your chosen area.
TechLauncher computing project
The computing project, offered through our TechLauncher program, is completed in your final year of study as a capstone experience.
This may be either:
- a group project (COMP8715) completed over your final two semesters; or
- an individual research project (COMP8755) completed over your final two semesters (6 units per semester) or in the final semester (12 units).
