On July 18 more than 19 R&D students and Engineering staff headed to the ANU Kioloa Coastal Campus to enjoy a couple of days of networking and team building.

The camp was developed by David Nisbet for students enrolled in either Bachelor of Engineering (R&D) or the Bachelor of Engineering (R&D)/Bachelor of Science, in order to form a better sense of community and collegiality within the R&D students and staff as well as to provide a networking opportunity.

David was the supervisor for the two days and was joined by PhD student Alexandra Rodriguez, both of which gave a presentation on their research projects along with the later year students.

The R&D camp was the first of its kind and it is hoped that it will become an annual event. David and the R&D students who attended would like to thank the College for their support in funding this initiative.
