On Monday 29 February ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science hosted 21 engineering students from Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NUST), one of our partner universities in China.
The purpose of the visit was to show potential students ANU facilities, to discuss further cooperation in education and research between our two universities and, in particular for the students to be introduced to our teaching style and sit in on a Physics lecture. We also did a showcase of our facilities such as our labs, met with current students and academics and did a tour of the campus.
The campus visit also included a tour of the National Computational Infrastructure and tour of the Paraboloidal dish. The delegation of students was led by two staff members from NUST.
