Live musical coding, a free barbeque lunch hosted by the Engineering Students Association, and the chance to design and launch a rocket were all highlights from the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science on Open Day 2016!
On Saturday 27 August, the College opened its doors to over 8,000 members of the public as part of ANU Open Day.
The day provided a fantastic opportunity for future students to seek advice on engineering and computing degrees at ANU.
Presentations about the degrees on offer were delivered by academics from the Research School of Electrical, Energy and Materials Engineering and Research School of Computer Science, as well as Q&A sessions with current students and student recruitment and admissions teams.
Attendees also experienced computer science and engineering in action through hands-on interactive engineering and computing displays and tours of the College’s facilities.
