Open Day 2017

On Saturday 26 August The Australian National University held its biggest event of the year, ANU Open Day.

This year, the College of Engineering and Computer Science and the Joint Colleges of Science introduced STEM Avenue, a place where guests and prospective students could explore all things Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

While STEM Ave was an exciting place, the student advisory centre was packed with prospective students who engaged with staff, academics and current students to ask questions around programs and what it’s like to study at ANU. Student associations were also on hand to deliver information on how students can get involved in college activities that might be of interest.

Presentations on courses including Computing, Engineering and Applied Data Analytics were popular while college tours ran throughout the day with visits to lecture rooms, labs and the hands-on displays in the Design Studio. Guests were also invited to view facilities where world-class research is being conducted and the newly renovated student spaces.

If you were unable to attend Open Day and you’re interested in studying at ANU or would like further information you can connect with us here.
