University rankings for 2022 have been released and the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science is once again among the best places in the world to study technology.    According to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022, the ANU is positioned at #93 globally for Engineering, moving back into the top 100. ANU is ranked at #56 for ‘Computer Science’ moving up 9 spots from #65 in 2021. In the General ranking, the university is ranked #54 globally and #2 in Australia.    The performance of the University was even better in the QS World University Rankings 2022: the ANU was ranked #27 in the world and the #1 university in Australia. The QS ranking evaluates institutions according to six metrics: academic reputation; employer reputation; faculty/student ratio; citations; international faculty ratio; and international student ratio.    For Engineering and Technology, the most recent QS Ranking per Subject (released in 2021) showed ANU as #79 in the world. ANU earned  #51 in the world for Computer Science and IT, and #63 for Electrical Engineering.     The achievements come thanks to the efforts and innovative approaches of the entire CECS community, which create an environment where knowledge can thrive.  Keep an eye on the Newsroom and CECS Weekly Newsletter to keep up to date with the College.
